

How Serenity Corner Strives to Meets the Physical & Practical Needs of Those We Serve.

Clothing - socks and underwear (new). Pants, jackets, coats, gloves, & shirts (new &used)
Utilities assistance – help with water, gas, & electric bills limited to a single month of service (no penalties, reconnection fees or late fees). One request for one form of assistance per year (strictly enforced).
Community groceries – Food for people who have a means to cook. Distribution at 10:00 AM (while supplies last), at 602 S. Rockwall.
Street food bags – food that can be opened without a can opener and eaten without a flame.
Bags are distributed at 602 S. Rockwall at 4:00 – 5:00 PM on Wednesdays and Fridays and on Saturdays at 10:00 AM.
Government documentation – help with paperwork, fees, and transportation to apply
for birth certificates, drivers’ licenses, IDs and SNAP (food stamps) benefits.
Health care – will assist in finding dentists & doctors who may be able to provide care at deeply discounted prices. We can also help with basic prescriptions and first aid items.
Transient homelessness assistance – for those passing through Terrell, we can help with bags of street food, water, fast food gift cards, clothes etc.
Sleeping bags & blankets – available upon request.
Rehabilitation & sober living homes – evaluation by Serenity’s pastors is required before admittance is approved.
Inmate assistance – funds available monthly for people incarcerated in Kaufman County jail.
